On February 25, 2005, His Holiness Mahamandaleshwar Paramhans Swami Maheshwarananda met the President of the Republic of Slovenia, Dr. Janez Drnovsek, in Slovenia's capital Ljubljana.

On February 17, the first day of his six-day official visit to India, President of Austria Heinz Fischer and his wife Margit met with His Holiness Mahamandaleshwar Sri Swami Maheshwarananda in New Delhi. Heinz Fischer is the first-ever head of Austria to visit India.

On Sunday, February 6, 2005 an international Conference on "Sustainable Health and Word Peace" is taking place in India – at OM Vishwa Deep Gurukul Swami Maheshwarananda Ashram, Jadan, District Pali, Rajasthan. This conference is organised by the Yoga in Daily Life Foundation, New Delhi, and has been endorsed by Mahamandaleshwar Paramhans Swami Maheshwarananda. The focus of the conference will be: Healthy Nourishment – "healthy nourishment creates a healthy body and a healthy mind, and subsequently it creates healthy families, healthy communities and a healthy planet, where all can live in peace and harmony."

Swamiji's busy schedule took him from Delhi to many of Inidian YIDL ashrams (Kailash, Khatu, Jadan), to Udaipur, Ahmedabad, and even over to Mumbai, from where he returned back to Jadan. Wherever he went, he was accepted with great honor, respect and devotion, inherent to India and its people. The photo-coverage below shows some of his many activities.

Dear brothers and sisters, we are all shocked and deeply moved by the terrible catastrophe that happened two days ago in Southern and Southeast Asia. A tragedy beyond description took place and is still going on. Many are injured, disabled, many have lost their families and all their property, and thousands of people more are still missing! On 30 November 2004, the official introductory presentation of Czech translation of the book "Hidden Powers in the Human" was held at the Czech Ministry of Culture in Prague. At a press conference that took place after the presentation, Swami Maheshwaranandaji answered a number of questions from the press relating not only to his book but also to the relationship between Czech and Indian culture and the acceptance of yoga in Czech Republic in general.

Three days of continuous ceremonies and celebrations were held in honour of Dharmsamrat Paramhans Swami Madhavanandaji – our beloved Holy Guruji, who entered into Mahasamadhi one year ago.

Through the blessing of our Masters and God's divine grace I recieved a great opportunity to reach and circumambulate the Mt. Kailas! I was in perfect health during the whole trip. We started from Nepal on Ganesha Chaturti and we had a very special occasion: we could be at the Mansarovar lake exactly on the full-moon time, which was really great!

To be able to accomodate more and more spiritual seekers, who are "converging" to Strilky Ashram, Swamiji has planned to reconstruct one of the existing buildings into an additional hall, where some of the parallel programs could take place. It is planned that the works will begin already in March 2005. This will greatly improve the conditions and possibilities for staying in the Ashram for such a large number of people.
