The 2nd of October, birthday of Mahatma Gandhi, was proclaimed by the United Nations in 2007 to be the International Day of Non-Violence. Since then, it has been observed annually worldwide by non-governmental organizations (NGOs) such as Sri Swami Madhavananda World Peace Council and Yoga in Daily Life.

On Sunday, 30 September 2018, at Sustipan Park (the most famous park in Split), Yoga in Daily Life Split presented its work as part of the citywide event 'HEALTH IS MY WAY' - doing so for the fourth year in a row.

The International Day of Peace has been observed worldwide by member states of the United Nations, as well as organs and organizations of the UN Systems, regional organizations, non-governmental organizations (NGOs), and individuals since 1981. Member societies of Yoga in Daily Life supported this initiative around the world again this year.

Already the 22nd year that the Vegetarian Festival has been organized in Budapest, this year the Festival took place on the first weekend of September.

For more than 20 years, yoga aspirants from around the world have come to the Summer Sadhana Seminar at Mahaprabhu Dip Ashram, taking place in Strilky, Czech Republic from 17-31 August 2018. The first week of this year’s program has been inspiring and educational for all, including intensive practice and teacher training sessions, satsangs, lectures and special cultural events.
