Messages of Presence, Detachment and Dharma

In his satsangs throughout the tour, Swami Avatar Puriji emphasized the value of living in the present moment, detachment from temporary thoughts, and trust in one’s spiritual path. He encouraged devotees to cultivate awareness and inner peace through the following reflections:

"Be happy, smile – it is a good moment when we are together, reuniting. If we want, all moments can be happy moments. But too often we forget to enjoy the present, worrying about what has passed or what is to come. Be here, be present, and be happy with whatever you have."

He further reflected on the impermanence of the body and the permanence of the soul:

"Thoughts will come and go – do not get attached to them. Just like life, everything passes. Ājar aur Amar Ātma – the soul is eternal, unchanging. The body is born and will eventually die, but the Atma remains. So why waste life worrying and being overly attached to the world?"

Quoting the Bhagavad Gita, he reminded listeners of the importance of authenticity:

"It is better to fail while following your own dharma, than to succeed in following someone else’s. Be content and sincere in walking your own path."

Throughout his talks, Swami Avatar Puriji reminded everyone that we are all merely instruments of the divine, channels of the blessings of all our masters:  Vishwaguruji,  Holy Guruji and Sri Deep Narayan Mahaprabhuji.

"Naham Karta, Prabhu Deep Karta, Maha Prabhu Deep Karta Hi Kevalam. Gurudev is within us – we often search outward but forget to look within. The answers we seek are already inside us. We must learn to trust ourselves and discover that inner light."

Swami Avatar Puriji’s visit was a source of renewed inspiration and connection for Yoga in Daily Life communities across Europe. His message reaffirms the essence of the OM Sri Alakhpuriji Siddha Peeth Parampara: a life dedicated to self-realisation, service and spiritual unity, guided by the blessings of the Guru.

The Yoga in Daily Life community expresses heartfelt gratitude for Swami Avatar Puriji’s presence and teachings, and for the continued grace of Vishwaguruji.
